Regional Center for Distance Learning - Haskovo Carried Out an Information Tour in Kardzhaly and Harmanly

Representatives of the UNWE Regional Centre for Distance Learning /RCDL/ in Haskovo were on an information tour in Kardzhaly and Harmanly. Within the framework of the Prospective Students Campaign 2024-2025 the experts from the Center met with high school pupils from the leading secondary schools in the regions of Kardzhaly and Haskovo.

At Aleko Konstantinov Vocational High School of Economics and Tourism were presented the opportunities that RCDL in Haskovo provides for distance learning as well as the Bachelor`s degree programmes.

The pupils from Hristo Botev Foreign Language High School and the pupils in 12 grade from Saint Father Paisii Secondary School besides the different specialties and Bachelor`s programmes showed also interest in the conditions for application and the opportunities to take part in the preliminary matriculation. The application and enrollment deadlines were also presented at the meeting.

The representatives of the Center met with the Deputy Mayor of Kardzhaly Daniel Delchev who confirmed the desire of Kardzhali Municipality to support the higher education in the region.

The pupils in 12 grade from Neofit Rilsky Secondary School in the town of Harmanli got acquainted with the opportunities to continue their education at the UNWE RCDL in Haskovo. At the meeting the prospective students were interested in the conditions for application, the career opportunities after obtaining a Bachelor's degree and the opportunities to study and work at the same time. The Director of the School Valentina Pavlova expressed her desire to continue the joint work with the RCDL and specific initiatives between the pupils of the School and the UNWE were discussed.
