The main focus was on the transnational educational partnerships and types of TNE programmes - with an emphasis on the double diplomas. Case studies of the existing UK TNE partnerships applicable in Bulgaria were also discussed. After that the discussion focused on the research collaboration programmes between the the UK and Bulgaria as well as on building trust in finding a contact with UK universities and managing the sustainable relations with potential partners.

As an example of good practice the British Council pointed out to the two dual Master's degree programmes - Digital Marketing and MBA on Global Operations and Analytics between the UNWE and Abertay, Scotland which start next academic year. The programmes have three-semesters of education and the students studying in them will receive double diplomas from both universities.
